Let’s be real. The shit I’ve said is coming, probably isn’t. My FreeBSD box is out of commission, because I can’t SSH into it from the webs at large. Also, I’ve got a couple podcasts I’m working on; ButtonMashers with DDMNeo, and Burnt Toast, with an IRL friend.

Holy Shit It’s September!

Goddamn, it’s September. Well I’ve got two posts in the draft stages, so look for those soon. I’m finally settled in at college, and thinking about embarking in on a podcast. Again, stay tuned.

HD video on the Xbox 360

So, recently I wanted to put HD (720p) video on my 360. The Xbox is picky about the formats it likes, and the common one found in torrents, .mkv, is not one of them. Bummer.

I’m hopefully starting on getting my server into it’s new case this week. The RAM is en route, and the power supply is getting ordered as I type. I’ll start hacking at the case today or tomorrow. I’ll be sure to post a write up when done!

So, not to be all full of myself or anything, I have have a cool desktop.

I got a bunch of stuff going, mostly my grad party, that’s keeping me from doing big, enthralling updates. But, here’s a quick status report:

qsTODO – the Quicksilver interface for todo.sh I want to write – Haven’t even started. In all honesty, it’ll probably just end up being an Applescript action or two. :S

My Desktop HowTo / Show ‘n’ Tell – Coming along, just have to find time to, y’know, write it.

Sever Re-mod – putting my old NESpc into a different case – Got the case, got some ideas as to what to do, just need to draw up some stencil templates for the different hole that need to be cut and purchase a power supply to be done with the planning stages. I might be able to get a post on this out this week, yet.
